They have a flagship hotel in Bangkok, and now they opened a new and one in Shanghai.
Neri&Hu designed this hotel to be an urban retreat located at center of the city.
The lobby area is designed with gray tone stones, antique brass, or medium-tone walnut. The space is constructed with less elements – it’s associated with some sort of cathedral or ZEN mindset.
In this quite space, Neri&Hu’s iconic glow ball lightings on the antique brass trees gives nice contrast and feeling of modern retreat.
Besides, the contemporary art pieces displayed in the public space, like a digital art by teamLab, makes the space alive and extraordinary escaping from urban busy city life.
The guest room design is following the same concept, but the room has soft-tone pink/green wall, which reminds the guests natures and feel brighter and home.
