Jaya International Design was established by Jaya Ibrahim (1948 – 2015).

He became one of the most respected hospitality designers in the world.Born in Indonesia, he studied in UK, and started his carrier as an Interior Designer at the place of a famous interior designer/ actress, Anouska Hempel in London.

His sensitive and rich sense of space, art, colors, and details had attracted Aman Resort and other international hotel brands very soon.He built one of the design standard of rich Asian modern-contemporary luxury hospitality design.Based on the local culture and history, he embrace and enrich them in beautiful and sophisticated manner in contemporary context, but not to over exaggerate it – there is always thought of guests to use the place there.

He often use symmetrical design. Symmetry is the basic of beauty used especially in Europe over centuries, but this classic method can easily lead people feeling bored or not special. With his unique sense of space and balance, Jaya used this method to make the place elegant and gorgeous in Asian style interiors.

After his unexpected death in 2015, Jaya International Design has been consolidated to Blink Design Group in Singapore in 2017. Blink Design Group has a similar design philosophy to Jaya, and they will continue and develop the legacy and wisdom of Jaya for future.
