Space Copenhagenは2005年にSigne Bindslev Henriksen と Peter Bundgaard Rützouの２人によって立ち上げられました。２人は共にThe Royal Danish AcademyのFine Arts, School of Architectureを卒業しています。

Spece Copenhagenは多種多様なデザインに関わっています。インテリアデザインはもちろん、家具プロダクトデザイン、オブジェクト、またはアートインスタレーションやディレクション等も行っています。

Their style is New Danish classic with its sculptural and sensual qualities and its timeless feelings – they call it “Poetic Modernism.”
They approach to the design challengings by balancing opposite elements – classic and modern, industrial and organic, sculptural and minimal, light and shade – this duality and contrast enrich their design and make “timeless”. And it reflects their belief in a slow authentic that centers quality and longevity.

Space Copenhagen has provided Interior design for some of the world’s most influential restaurants like NOMA or Geranium, Geist, and some iconic hotels – like 11 Howard Hotel in NY or Raddison Blu Royal Hotel renovation in Denmark.
