近年の家具のトレンドの１つがシープスキンやシアリング（羊毛を短く切ったもの）です
Vitraはオーガニックチェア（Charles Eames & Eero Saarinen, 1940）をシープスキンを使って2019/2020冬バージョンとしてリミテッドエディションを発表しました。
シープスキンを使った家具として有名なものは&トラディションのリトル・ペトラ（Viggo Boesen, 1938）です。
シープスキンは特に有機的なデザインの椅子に合います。温かくソフトな見た目となり、座る人々を迎えるようなデザインとなります。また、羊を連想させるものです。シープスキンは今後もっとポピュラーになっていくでしょう。また、冬のみの仕様と言うわけでもありません。その柔らかさは人々に快適な座り心地を全シーズン通して与えてくれます
