Building on the mighty FX platform is the all-new FX4, a compact "little brother" to the FX6.

Capable of outputting 2600lph, FX4 bridges the gap between the Fluval 406 and the FX6 canister, making it an ideal choice for consumers with aquariums up to 1000 litres.

SEAMLESS Water Changes

The FX series features a multi-functional utility valve drain at its base, making it possible to empty the canister and perform seamless water changes by draining and refilling water directly from it (and all without disturbing your setup or tank inhabitants).

As an added bonus, convenient hosing clips, located on the filter lid, allows for simple storage of the hosing when not in use.

SMART PUMP Technology

Patented Smart Pump Technology employs an electronic circuit board to continually monitor the pump.

Impeller speed and force are constantly measured to ensure powerful output and energy efficiency. Smart Pump is also critical in evacuating any air that may build up in the system.

Once every 12 hours, the filter will pause and allow any trapped air to escape, thereby maintaining maximum filtration efficiency.
