On the morning of 15 March 1840, just after 6 o’clock, 40-year-old Jakob Lorber heard a clear voice in the region of his heart instructing him, “Rise, take your pen and write!”. From that moment until his death in 1864 - a period of 24 years - Jakob Lorber transcribed 26 volumes containing some of the most profound and loving words of wisdom ever written. You, the reader, are invited to be your own judge to determine the authenticity of these truly extraordinary and unique revelations.From time to time, Lorber was permitted to ask questions on behalf of an inner circle of close friends. These questions covered a wide range of topics, including personal health, family matters, national and geopolitical events, geographical settings, and, most importantly, explanations of scripture and various other spiritual phenomena. The answers Lorber received to these informal requests were later compiled and published in three volumes under the title Gifts from Heaven. This body of work clearly demonstrates that God can be found only through humble, unselfish love in the heart of every person, and not through external religious dogma and ceremonial practices.
