Space Copenhagen was established in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou – both graduated The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture.

Space Copenhagen has been involved in multiple design works – from interior design, to furniture and refined objects, or artistic installations and art direction.

Their style is New Danish classic with its sculptural and sensual qualities and its timeless feelings – they call it “Poetic Modernism.”
They approach to the design challengings by balancing opposite elements – classic and modern, industrial and organic, sculptural and minimal, light and shade – this duality and contrast enrich their design and make “timeless”. And it reflects their belief in a slow authentic that centers quality and longevity.

Space Copenhagen has provided Interior design for some of the world’s most influential restaurants like NOMA or Geranium, Geist, and some iconic hotels – like 11 Howard Hotel in NY or Raddison Blu Royal Hotel renovation in Denmark.
