Interior Product from China 2020 – Chairs –

There are many interesting interior products and brands coming up in China these days.

Several years ago, only some part of people were interested in design furniture, and many of them tended to buy classic style furniture or Italian brand furniture.

Now days, younger generations are having more interests in “design” products.

They have already bought branded clothings, cosmetics, cars, or IT devices, then started traveling all around the world. In these days, they also started having more interests in interior products.

INTEBEE would like to introduce some of the interesting interior products we found.

This time, we will focus on four chairs:

1. 梵几 – 螳螂椅 / Fnji Home – Mantis Chair

Within the hand crafted organic frame, the upholstered seating is floating.

While the frame is rounded and feels Asian, the floating seat is in contemporary style and using Kvadrat fabrics.

Considering the material and craft used, the price is relatively affordable.

2.梵几 – 藤甲叠椅 / Fnji Home – Cane Shell Stacking Chair

On the simple and modern wooden frame, it uses natural canes for back&seat.

While the design is relatively simple, the color way is trendy and international – natural Ash, black Ash, gray Ash, and Walnut.

And it’s stackable, so that the commercial use is also possible.

3.尖叫设计 – 虹椅餐椅 / WOW DSGN – Arch Chair

It’s also a trend to appoint an international designers for product.

While the chair has an unique form in wooden crafted frame, the price is amazing.

4. 造作 – 洛城软椅 / ZAO ZUO – LA Chair

ZAOZUO is also China’s upcoming interior product brand.

They are also appointing many of the international designers for their product.

They are offering modern contemporary design product in affordable pricing.

This LA Chair in upholstery is useful for both residential and office use.

It comes with nice upholstery options, decent quality, and very affordable pricing.

It’s stackable so it can be used in the conference room as well.

Sheepskin

It’s one of the trends to use Sheep Skin or Shearling (Shortcut hair sheepskin) on furniture and so these days.

Vitra. launched “Organic Chair” (designed by Charles Eames & Eero Saarinen, 1940 ) in Sheepskin for 2019/2020 winter season as a limited edition.

The other popular sheepskin furniture is Little Petra VB1 (designed by Viggo Boesen, 1938) from &Tradition.

Sheepskin looks good on the organic foam chair. It looks warm and soft, welcoming people who will seat. And it may remind us of the sheep. Sheepskin would be more and more popular. And it’s not necessarily used only in winter – softness of sheepskin gives you comfort throughout all seasons.

Pantone Color of the Year 2014 – 2020

Pantone Color of the year for 2020 is “Classic Blue(19-4052)”.

According to the Pantone, this color shows “Instilling calm”, “Confidence”, or “Connection”. And it highlights our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era.

The color of 2019 was coral pink color. The color energize people with a softer edge, the color provides warmth and nourishment in continually shifting environment with technology or social medias.

Shifting from soft pink color to deep blue color, this might show the cheerful and warm year in 2019 shift to the year of thinking deeply with sharpness in 2020.

Arbor is located in – 25th floor of H QUEEN’S by Architect CL3. They offers innovative and quality Michelin start French fine-dining by chefs Nicolas Boutin and Eric Räty at the helm. The space offers warm relaxation and refined home feeling, but it’s also creative and cultural based on classic French home design.
